About Orthodontics
Orthodontic treatment can help give you a beautiful smile, improve your dental health, and enhance your quality of life, no matter your age. With a variety of appliances to choose from, an orthodontic consultation will help us work together to determine the best treatment plan for you. The treatment time can vary depending on the age, treatment method, severity of your case, and often times patient compliance! The better you can be about following our instructions, the more efficient and successful treatment will be.
early treatment
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that an initial orthodontic evaluation should occur as early as age seven. Early evaluation allows us to assess for future crowding or spacing concerns, identify any bite problems, monitor growth and development, and determine whether early treatment is needed. If interceptive orthodontics is not needed at this time, then we will continue to evaluate your child every 6-12 months to determine the best time to get started on treatment.
Orthodontics for Teens
Our practice offers a variety of treatment options for teens, including ceramic braces, traditional metal braces, or Invisalign. At your consultation, we will discuss the benefits of each type of treatment to help make the best decision that is right for your individual needs and dental condition. Using the newest technology and our 3D iTero scanner, we can even help provide a virtual simulation of what your smile could look like after orthodontic treatment.

Orthodontics for Adults
Braces are no longer just for kids. The American Dental Association reports that approximately 30% of orthodontic patients are adults. Orthodontic treatment at later stages of life can dramatically change your personal appearance and self-esteem as well as improve the health of your teeth and gums. Or maybe you had orthodontic treatment as a child or teen and haven’t worn a retainer in a while and have noticed some shifting. We utilize the most up-to-date technology to provide you with the best treatment plan and have a variety of cosmetic options available to help make the process as pain-free and efficient as possible.
